ENHANCING THE Participation AND ENJOYMENT OF SPORT FOR ALL.

Whether you play for fun, fitness or at expert level, our Sports Academy is committed to enhancing the participation and enjoyment of sport for all.

 
 

Participation for all

We have a multi use gym which is available for all students to use from 10.30 am - 4.30 pm daily, with dedicated women only sessions.

Our outdoor multi-use games area (MUGA) is available for student to use with friends for tennis, football, netball, basketball, table tennis, outdoor fitness and cricket. Equipment is available to borrow.

Whether you play for fun, fitness or at expert level, we offer a range of activities to get involved in.
All students are encouraged to take part in the following sports activities at lunch and after college.

Inclusive sport

Welcome Superhumans

We offer an inclusive Ability Counts sports programme for students with physical disabilities and learning difficulties. All staff within the Sports Academy team are trained in delivering adapted sports and offer a wide programme of opportunities.

Some of the opportunities provided each week include:

  • Ability Counts football squad training

  • Ability Counts multi-sport club

  • Ability Counts Ambassador Programme

One team, one dream

We compete in weekly AoC Sport leagues, cups, regional and national championships, along with various London and Essex cups in the following sports:

  • Ability Counts football

  • badminton

  • men’s basketball

  • women’s basketball

  • men’s cricket

  • women’s cricket

  • men’s football

  • women’s football

  • netball

  • table tennis

  • trampolining
