Financial Support
a helping hand when you need it.
There are a number of financial support options available for students from low income households. This includes financial help from the college’s bursary scheme to help with the costs of studying at college. Priority support is given to young people in care, care leavers, young people in receipt of income support and disabled young people receiving employment and support allowance or disability allowance. However, all students from low income households that meet the criteria are awarded bursary support.
Bursaries and financial support
In addition to the college’s bursary scheme, you may be able to get help towards the cost of travelling to college through the Transport for London student Oyster photo card scheme and you can apply for free college meals entitlement. Further information on financial support you may be entitled to can be found online at gov.uk/guidance/16-to-19-education-financial-support-for-students
Existing students can apply for financial support (College Bursary Fund) through the PayMyStudent Portal which can be accessed here.
