An open day is your chance to find out more about any subjects you’re interested in, whether you know what you want to apply for or not. Teachers of each course will be on hand, along with current students, who you can chat with and ask any questions.

Being a student is about so much more than what you study. That’s why we offer an array of different clubs and societies to join. Use this opportunity to investigate what these are and start getting to know those that run them. There are also opportunities to volunteer or boost your employability skills through our partnerships.

Your wellbeing is our number one priority. Without taking care of your mental health you won’t enjoy your course or student experience. We recognise the importance of student wellbeing and have put in place a wealth of support services and resources to help students.

You’ll get to explore the our facilities when attending an in-person at open day, while if attending virtually you can also access a virtual tour of our campus so you can still see what's on offer.

There are no age limits on our Open Days. So whether you’re a prepared Year 9 or a keen Year 11, everyone is more than welcome to attend our Open Day.
Parents, friends and family are also welcome.

We could tell you how great NewVIc is, but to really give you a taste of student life and what the college has to offer you, you need to see it for yourself. You’ll be able to explore the college campus and find out far more than you ever could from a prospectus or website. It’s your chance to imagine yourself studying here. Current students are on hand to answer any questions and tell you about their own experiences.

The college campus is designed to be accessible.
Parking for visitors with disabilities is available on the college site.

We are served by many local bus routes and close to the District, Hammersmith & City, Jubilee and DLR tube lines.
We have limited parking on the college site if you are travelling by car and this is prioritised for drivers who have disabilities.

Yes – we welcome visits from school groups.
If you are a teacher arranging a school group visit, please email our Schools Liaison and Outreach Officer on parul.begum@newvic.ac.uk who will create a tailored experience for your group.

Join us online to find out more about your course options and career progression routes through one-to-one advice with qualified information, advice, and guidance practitioners. These sessions aim to support you in making well-informed decisions about your post-16 studies. Parents and Carers are also welcome to attend.

Career Pathway Sessions
We offer a wide range of courses for students aged 16-18 which can lead to further study and careers in many different sectors. Our Career Pathway sessions are grouped by career pathway to help inspire you as you explore your options and discover where our courses can take you. In each session you can find out more about different careers and course combinations and get a taster of the kind of topics and content you will learn about in our courses.

Want a fantastic range of enrichment opportunities?
We take student development seriously and provide a wide range of exciting opportunities for everyone, from clubs and societies and volunteering to sports and much more. We want you to broaden your college experience, develop your interests and enhance your skills.

Support for gifted and talented students
The NewVIc Honours Programme provides specialist guidance, a tailored curriculum, and enrichment opportunities to support progression to top universities, including Oxbridge, and higher apprenticeships - and the programme is open to all students with an average GCSE grade above a 6.5, irrespective of whether you choose to study A Levels, T Levels or vocational courses
Our Honours Programme will help you develop key skills and provide you with a range of experiences to make your application stand out from the rest.
Honours students are eligible to take part in our super curricular programmes and receive an additional hour each week along their main course programme to work with talented specialists.
