What are Level 3 Extended Certificates?

Equivalent to one full A Level.

Level 3 Extended Certificates are equivalent to one full A Level.  These are vocational courses and taken over two years. Level 3 Certificates are accepted by universities and carry UCAS points.

Part of your A Level programme.

The number of applied courses and A Levels you take is dependent on your predicted grades, career direction and progression. Usually the main difference between Level 3 Extended Certificates and A Levels is the way that they are assessed.
