Finally, our fixtures season has started and it is good to see NewVIc Mixed Volleyball Team defeating our opponents Havering College 3-0 in the AoC Mixed Volleyball Cup League Round 1 on home soil.

Two months of training was used to integrate new and old players, working on improving skills and teamwork, and this was all visible in the scoreline of 25 v 13, 25 v 9 and 25 v 15!

The spirit was high and the team was able to show their skills, although they still need to work hard on being effective in serving.

MVP: Wenny Jay Salas, who put passion and heart in the game from the first point to the end.

It’s another couple of months before Round 2 of the AoC Mixed Volleyball Cup League begins, which will be played on the 18th December. However, there will be a little bit of Volleyball going on in November during the AoC Regional Men Volleyball Championship at UEL.
