Head Coach, Basketball England U14 National Team, Charles Vuong, said:

“Two years ago I applied for the role of England U14 Assistant Coach as I was entering my second year as a London Regional coach. I had a successful year and enjoyed the experience, going to a range of international tournaments and subsequently, when I was offered the role of Head Coach at the start of this year I gladly accepted it.

My journey started as a volunteer for the London Regional squad 3 years ago. I was later appointed as a Regional Head Coach later that year. It means a lot to represent at a high level for the national team, it’s something I never thought I would do when I began my coaching career.

The experience means that I am challenged at different levels and I can bring that experience to NewVIc and Basketball England, helping my teams to develop. I am so thankful for this opportunity and to everyone that has supported me along the way.”
