Going to Middlesex University to study Veterinary Nursing
Tell us about yourself?
I was very proactive with my time, I completed some online courses that will help me prepare for university or courses that I was interested in to keep my brain functioning and use my time wisely. I completed a Leadership in a Veterinary Environment, Preparing for University and Environment and Conservation.
What do you hope to do next?
I have my place at Middlesex University to study Veterinary Nursing. The pandemic helped me to do more research to find out what I'd really like to do, I originally opted for Veterinary Medicine and changed to Veterinary Nursing as a result of my research.
How will your qualification/course help you in the future?
It will definitely open a lot more doors for me and give me greater opportunities to do more with my degree choice.
What will you miss about NewVIc and your college experience in general?
I will miss all the enrichment opportunities, particularly my volunteering exhibition with Raleigh International where I went to Costa Rica for 10 weeks which really helped me build my confidence and work in groups, which was really beneficial for me on my course.
