This is a full-time programme which is studied over two years. It is equivalent to 3 A Levels.
This course is ideal if you have a passion for numbers and want to gain practical industry experience within the accounting and finance industry.

YOU WILL
Learn the fundamental principles of financial accounting.
Understand financial principles, concepts, and practices and how they link to relevant accounting, bookkeeping and business mathematics requirements
Develop an understanding of professionalism and ethics. You will explore professional conduct and responsibilities in the workplace as well as ethical dilemmas for the individual and the organisation
Develop an awareness of key requirements of a data governance framework and understand methods and tools used to support decision making
Undertake a substantial industry placement. You will complete a minimum of 315 hours of placement with an employer to develop your knowledge, skills and behaviours

A minimum of 6 Six GCSEs at grade 4 or above, including English Language and Maths
Learners progressing from a T Level Foundation course will need a good Merit profile, along with English Language and Maths GCSE at grade 4 or above

Students can also use this to progress to a T Level course and then onto university or a related higher-level apprenticeship.
On successful completion of the course, career options might include working as an accounts clerk, assistant accountant, or corporate recovery analyst. Y
