Murshida

Meet NewVIc student and Student Learner Voice Officer, Murshida. She is a member of the Student Union and is currently in her second year studying A Levels in Mathematics, Chemistry, Biology and Criminology. We caught up with Murshida to find out a little more.

Why did you choose to go for your Student Union role?

I chose to take this role because I like to listen and take in concerns that students have. I like to propose remedies and solutions for the problems and issues that students face.

What do you enjoy about being a student at NewVIc?

I really like the availability and the variety of opportunities for students to get involved in. I also love the fact that the college is so diverse and inclusive.

What would you like to improve with your role?

I would like to improve the students’ experiences in the college. I want to make students comfortable in their surroundings and feel at ease.

What is your favourite food?

I love eating noodles and Korean fried chicken, soo tasty!

What would be your superpower and why?

My superpower would be to be able to read the mind so I am able to know the true intentions behind anyone’s actions.
