Women's futsal team beats Haringey

On Wednesday the women's football squad had a friendly game vs Haringey sixth form ahead of their AoC Futsal league starting in January.

The first game resulted in an 11 – 7 win to the NewVIc girls and after a slightly tense start, it was a competitive but respectful game.  Following the formal game, the girls from both colleges decided the mix up the teams and play a real festival style match, having a great time meeting new players and working on their skills.

Well done to Amana Zubair, Ammarah Ahmed, Filomena Fiore, Marta Araujo De Lima, Ranya Keita, Sheuli Ali, Titilope Odugbemi, and Tayyaba Ashraf for coming in on their day off for this friendly opportunity!
