T LEVEL (NCFE CACHE)

This is a 2 year course equivalent to 3 A Levels and includes 9 weeks minimum working with an employer on an industry placement.

This course prepares learners to work with children between birth and young people aged between birth and 19 years old and is suitable for anyone wanting a career in early years, primary, teaching and other related careers.

We offer two pathways, Early Years and Assisting Teaching. The Early Years pathway will give you a license to practice, enabling you to enter the workplace as a qualified Early Years Educator or manage an Early Years Setting. The Assisting Teaching pathway will qualify you to work as a Teaching Assistant in primary and secondary schools. Successful completion of this course will also allow you to progress to university.

    Successful completion of this course will give you a license to practice, enabling you to enter the workplace either as a qualified Early Years Educator or Teaching Assistant.

    Alternatively, you can undertake further study as an Early Years Foundation Stage Teacher, where you can specialise in delivering the Early Years or Special Needs curriculum.

    Other progression options include progression to university to study Early Childhood Studies, Education Studies, or other related degrees such as Primary and Secondary Teaching.
